This is an agree to disagree blog site. I'm pretty sure we will not be able to change the opinion of the other authors, but we will have the opportunity to "fine tune" our political arguments to go after the weak undecided with our back and forth banter and opinion. The only rule is, no personal attacks...be nice to the person, but brutally honest about the idea.

I don't want my tax dollars to support religious causes. Knippenberg does.
I support Obama's plan for federal funding of faith-based initiatives. Many, including me, will not support such a plan that allows tax money to be used to advance particular religious views. Why not go with a plan that more Americans can support?
If shifting welfare programs from government bureaucracy to private organizations is important to conservatives, they shouldn't complain when a Democrat wants to do exactly that.
Obama is not asking anybody to surrender religious freedom. And if an organization doesn't like the conditions, they can turn down the federal dollars.
